Services connecting to cultural heritage
Love for Our Valued Elders, Inc. realizes that different cultures require different needs and receive assistance differently. Among the culture, many elders are hesitant when asking for or receiving assistance. They usually feel more comfortable receiving help from someone they feel that they can relate to. L.O.V.E will do its best to match the elder and their family with a Haitian-speaking person with a Haitian-speaking care manager.
L.O.V.E is also aware of the stereotype that is associated with aging. We want to show that not only are the elderly valued but also appreciated for all they have given to their community and society as a whole.
