Mr. Michael Jennings is a seasoned nonprofit executive, community advocate, and lifelong caregiver whose leadership is rooted in compassion, service, and a deep commitment to empowering those most often overlooked. As the Chief Operating Officer/President of Love for Our Valued Elders, Inc., Mr. Jennings oversees strategic operations, program development, community partnerships, and the delivery of high-quality, life-enhancing services for seniors across New York City.

With more than 30 years of personal and professional caregiving experience, Mr. Jennings has dedicated his life to ensuring that older adults, especially underserved and isolated seniors, receive the dignity, respect, and support they deserve. His commitment is not theoretical; it is lived. From providing hands-on care to advocating for resources, safety, and visibility for elders in need, Mr. Jennings is recognized as a powerful voice for senior equity, empowerment, and protection.

Before joining Love for Our Valued Elders, Inc., Mr. Jennings spent over a decade building transformational programs for vulnerable youth. He served for five years as the Executive Director and Founder of a nonprofit youth organization dedicated to uplifting underserved and at-risk young people through mentorship, life-skills development, and community engagement. Under his leadership, the organization became a trusted anchor for struggling families seeking guidance, stability, and opportunity for their children.

Mr. Jennings also served as Program Director for a nonprofit reentry organization, leading programs that supported formerly incarcerated youth and young adults in rebuilding their lives. Through his leadership, countless individuals received the structure, resources, and emotional support needed to re-enter society with confidence and purpose.

A respected community activist and public advocate, Mr. Jennings works tirelessly to amplify the needs of seniors and marginalized populations. He collaborates with elected officials, faith-based organizations, partner nonprofits, and neighborhood stakeholders to create sustainable solutions in housing, food security, wellness, and senior engagement. His influence extends into community organizing, policy conversations, and local initiatives aimed at improving seniors’ quality of life and strengthening intergenerational unity.

Known for his humility, directness, and heart-centered leadership, Mr. Jennings brings an exceptional combination of hands-on caregiving experience, operational expertise, program development, and community vision to Love for Our Valued Elders, Inc. His personal mission is simple yet profound:
